Sobremesa – Corona Cigar Product Review

(upbeat acoustic guitar music) – Hey, everybody, it’s Joey
at Corona Cigar Company, We’re joined today by a special guest. This is Steve Saka of
Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust. He’s come in to share a little bit with us about some of the different
blends that he has made for our smoking pleasure. So, Steve. – Sobremesa. Sobremesa’s one of my favorite words. In the Latin culture, when
they finish the evening meal, as a family, family and friends,
they all stay at the table, and they linger, and they
enjoy each other’s company. It’s during sobremesa that
they enjoy their dessert, they smoke their cigars,
they have a little gestivo. It’s this experience of relaxing
with family and friends. For me, it just seemed
like just a perfect name for a cigar ’cause so often that cigar is when we slow down and we enjoy the people that we love, and spend time with friends. But I mean, Sobremesa is a
very intricate, nuanced cigar. It’s medium plus in body. The larger sizes are a little smoother. The smaller sizes have a bit more punch. It’s one of those brands that delivers you a coffee cafe kind of core, but it’s got layers of cinnamon touches and a dry-pressed cocoa in it. And it’s got almost, there’s a bit of honey to it in the back, and if you got a really,
really astute palate, you can even get tastes of
anise licorice in the blend. It’s really a cigar that
you need to sit down and focus and relax with to really get the full Sobremesa experience. I can see someone 30 years from now still smoking Sobremesa and enjoying it as much
then as I am today. (upbeat music)
