Nicotine Salts vs. Freebase Nicotine

Nicotine Salts vs. Freebase Nicotine

(soft music)
– Well, hello there.
Gabriel here to help you
answer the question.
What’s the difference
between nicotine salts
and freebase nicotine?
Or, what’s the difference between
nic salt ejuice and regular ejuice?
It’s a question you’ve been asking
and a question we’re here to answer.
First, we have a blog,
if you want to follow
along and read through

and enjoy the read. Let’s get into it.
First, what is nicotine.
Simply, it’s a stimulant
that naturally occurs
in the nightshade family
of plants.
Tomatoes, tomahtoes, potatoes or patahtoes
eggplants and tobacco plants.
What happens is that it
carries a positive charge
that has a hard time
running through your body
So, because of this, fewer particles
get into your bloodstream.
That’s nicotine. So
what’s freebase nicotine?
Freebase nicotine is
traditionally used in e-liquid.
In e-liquid, it’s treated to remove that
particle charge I mentioned earlier.
And when that particle charge is removed,
it moves more freely, therefore freebase,
through the membranes of your body.
That allows the nicotine to
move freely through the body
making it the most potent form.
Freebase in a nutshell.
So what are nicotine salts? Or Nic salts?
First, they’re not the type of salts
that you put in your food.
Also, they won’t change your attitude.
Some people are just salty.
(Dramatic whisper “Salty”)
Nicotine salts are created by combining
freebase nicotine with an acid.
Typically benzoic acid.
What benzoic acid does is
it treats the PH levels
down to a more neutral area.
This allows for more
concentration of nicotine
to be absorbed into the
body without the harshness
of a throat hit.
So that results in a smoother hit
and allows higher
concentrations of nicotine to
go be absorbed in the body,
nearly as much as freebase.
Those are nic salts.
So what are some of the differences?
Let’s figure it out.
Freebase nicotine will have
a stronger throat hit, is
used in sub ohm devices,
will have a less rapid
release in your body,
and have a longer effect.
Whereas nicotine salts
will have a smoother
throat hit, is used in
higher ohm devices like
pod systems, and will have a rapid release
and a shorter effect in the body.
(throat clearing)
Well, that’s it folks.
That’s the difference
between nicotine salts
and freebase nicotine.

go take you to a blog that has all
the information we couldn’t
cover in the video.

hung out with us. Thank you so much.
